Begin in New Zealand, where farming regions, small towns, and dramatic landscapes shape everyday life. Travel through Hawke’s Bay and Rotorua, visiting fruit and dairy farms, glowworm caves, and experiencing Māori culture through a hangi feast and time in an authentic village. The journey continues south past sheep and deer farms, hydro lakes, and irrigation regions that define the country’s rural backbone.
On the South Island, cruise through Milford Sound, surrounded by waterfalls and towering cliffs, then travel onward through salmon farms, rural stores, machinery dealerships, and working farms on the Canterbury Plains. These days reveal how agriculture, infrastructure, and landscape are closely connected across the country.
The journey then shifts to Australia, beginning in tropical Cairns with scenic rail travel, rainforest cableways, and time on the Great Barrier Reef. From there, explore farming regions across Victoria and South Australia before ending in Sydney, where a harbour cruise and Opera House visit provide a memorable finish to this journey.
