Arrive in Lisbon and meet your Local Guide at the airport. Travel to Porto and explore with a guided walking tour which includes entrance to the Exchange Palace. Once you check in to you hotel, have time to relax freshen up before an included 3 course welcome dinner at the hotel.

October 26, 2027

Today you visit the Douro Valley which will include a scenic boat cruise. The Douro Valley, located in the north of Portugal, is one of the world’s oldest wine regions and is famous for its production of Port wine as well as table wines, such as Douro red and white wines. Take in the views and admire the terraced vineyards that cover the hillsides. You will stop at a local winery for lunch and wine tasting experience. This evening, have dinner on your own (not included). (

October 27, 2027

This morning, check out of the hotel and travel to Lisbon. You will stop in Coimbra for a walking tour and visit the University of Coimbra, one of the main attractions of Coimbra which was founded in 1290 and is one of the oldest universities in Europe. The university is home to numerous historic buildings, such as the Biblioteca Joanina, a magnificent baroque library, and the University Tower, which offers stunning views of the city.

Later this afternoon, you will check into your hotel and dinner is on your own. Since Lisbon is known for its delicious cuisine, which features a variety of fresh seafood, flavorful meats, and traditional dishes, take the opportunity to try something new!

October 28, 2027

This morning you depart for the magical and medieval town of Sintra for a tour including entrance to the Royal Palace. The palace was built in the 15th and 16th centuries and is known for its unique blend of Gothic, Manueline, and Moorish architectural styles, which create a stunning and distinctive appearance.

You continue along the coast of Lisbon to the villages of Cascais & Estoril. Cascais and Estoril are charming coastal towns that offer a glimpse into Portugal’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Stop in the narrows streets and see the aristocratic houses or stroll along the cobblestone streets of the historic center. You also stop in Europe’s westernmost point, the incredible Cabo de Roca, which is a dramatic cliff formation and sea cave.

Tonight, you will enjoy 3-course dinner at a local restaurant.

October 29 2027

This morning you will have morning tour of Lisbon including Praça do Comércio (Yellow Square). The square is surrounded by yellow buildings with elegant arches and is dominated by a massive statue of King Dom José I. The statue is located in the center of the square, and visitors can climb up to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Afternoon is free time to have lunch and explore on your own. Tonight, enjoy 3-course dinner at a local restaurant.

October 30, 2027

This morning you will check out of the hotel and travel to Seville, Spain. We stop in Evora for an included lunch. Évora is a charming historic city located in the Alentejo region of Portugal and is known for its well-preserved Roman ruins, picturesque streets, and beautiful architecture. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to more than 2,000 years of history plus an escape from damage in the 1755 earthquake that nearly leveled Lisbon.

This evening you will check into your hotel and the evening is yours to relax or continue exploring on your own.

October 31, 2027

This morning we will have a Seville City Tour including entrance to the Cathedral and the Giralda Tower. Seville is the capital of Andalusia and the fourth largest city in Spain. Its city center is a compact maze of narrow streets within the Jewish quarters. Seville still preserves the lushness and sensuality of Al-Andalus, the territory of the Iberian Peninsula under the Muslim power, which spread over between 711 and 1492.

Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

November 1, 2027

This morning you will check out of the hotel and depart for Cordoba. Upon arrival, you will have a Córdoba City Tour including entrance to the Great Mosque. The UNESCO-listed mosque that is one of the most splendid Islamic buildings in Europe. Cordoba was once a major center of Islamic civilization and the capital of Islamic Spain, and it has left a lasting impact on the city’s architecture and culture.

Later this afternoon you will arrive in Granada and check into your hotel. Tonight, you are free to relax at the hotel or continue exploring on your own.

November 2, 2027

This morning includes a guided tour with entrance to Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens. Granada has an unmistakable Arab flavor, consequence of the city’s glorious history with its Alhambra Palace. The Alhambra is a stunning palace and fortress complex that was built in the 13th and 14th centuries. It features beautiful gardens, ornate architecture, and stunning views of the city. The Generalife is a beautiful palace and garden complex that was built in the 14th century. It features stunning gardens, fountains, and pools.

Tonight, enjoy a 3-course dinner at a local restaurant.

This morning you will check out of your hotel and depart for Madrid. On the way, you will stop at Toledo where you will have free time to explore on your own. Toledo is a historic city located in central Spain and is known for its stunning medieval architecture, rich history, and vibrant culture. The city has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its many historic monuments and buildings and preserves its artistic legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques, and synagogues.

Later this afternoon you arrive in Madrid and check into your hotel. Tonight, we will have a Farewell Flamenco Show & Dinner at a traditional place. Enjoy the best pure flamenco in a mythical venue of Madrid. Feel the vibes of Spanish dancing run through your veins. Live the energy of flamenco dance, in an expressive, and funny way while you enjoy dinner.

November 4, 2027

This morning we will enjoy a Madrid City Tour which includes entrance to The Royal Palace, the oldest active palace in Europe. On the tour you will see the most characteristic rooms out of more than 3500 rooms. Later this afternoon and early evening, enjoy a guided dinner Tapas Tour. Experience the Spanish culture of the locals, bars and taverns that specialized in tapas. Visit a traditional Tasca and one of the oldest Taverns of Madrid.

How do I book?

You can book in a couple of easy ways:

  • Online: Use our user-friendly booking portal right on the vacation page — available 24/7. Powered by Tourseta, it lets you pay your deposit securely, manage your booking, make payments, and complete forms all in one place.

Once your booking is complete and your deposit is received, you’ll get a receipt from Tourseta. Afterward, our team will be in touch with highlights of your tour, important payment dates, and a few helpful tips to get you ready. About 4 weeks before departure, we’ll send you your final itinerary with everything you need to know. And if a question pops up along the way, we’re only a phone call or email away during office hours. We’re here for you every step of the journey.

Your tour price does not include travel protection. We strongly recommend coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and trip interruption.

For international tours, if you don’t purchase protection through Target Tours, you’ll need to provide proof of alternate coverage. By joining a tour without sufficient emergency medical insurance, you agree not to hold Target Tours responsible for costs that may arise.

Initial deposits and required subsequent installments are non-refundable, and once your final payment is made the tour becomes fully non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance Protection to safeguard your investment. For international tours, if you don’t purchase protection through Target Tours, you’ll need to provide proof of alternate coverage.

If one or more guests in a room cancel, the remaining roommate(s) will be responsible for the adjusted rate based on the new occupancy.

In the case that Target Tours cancels a trip due to lack of interest, you may choose a full refund or transfer your funds to another tour (subject to any supplier cancellation fees). You’ll always be notified in advance of final payment if a tour is at risk of cancellation.

Yes, a valid passport is required for all tours outside of Canada. For most international, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your tour’s departure date.

An European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) will start operations in the last quarter of 2026 and may required at an additional cost. Target Tours will let you know during the booking process and help guide you through what’s needed.

It is each traveller’s responsibility to ensure they have the proper documents and to keep them safe while travelling. Without a valid passport, you may be unable to join or complete your tour.

Vaccination requirements vary depending on your destination and personal health. We recommend reviewing your travel plans with a healthcare professional to determine what’s right for you.

For convenience, Target Tours has partnered with the Virtual Travel Clinic, where you can easily book an online consultation and receive personalized guidance on recommended vaccinations and medications for your trip.

Your emergency contact should be someone who can step in if you or your travel companion need to leave the tour unexpectedly, most often due to a medical situation. Ideally, this person should:

  • Know they’ve been chosen as your contact.

  • Have a copy of your itinerary, passport, and insurance details.

  • Be willing and able to travel if necessary and assist in getting you home.

  • Be prepared to speak with your insurance company on your behalf if you’re unable.

If you need to update your emergency contact, please let Target Tours know at least 30 days before departure.

Moderately Active
A tour itinerary that’s a perfect blend of pre-planned excursions with free time to explore destinations at your own discretion. Our Moderately Active tours can include some, or all, of the following: flights in excess of 5 hours and/or overnight, longer days including guided tours, extended walking on uneven terrains like cobblestones streets/sidewalks, steep hills and multiple sets of stairs with or without handrails, lifting and carrying your own luggage for longer distances at hotels, airports & cruise terminals, some late nights and early morning starts, and an itinerary that explores 4 cities or more, where buses are not permitted.

Lynn Dunphy

“There are many things in life to be thankful for, being able to live our dream is one that I hold close to my heart. We’ve been blessed with wonderful family and friends and the opportunity to see what lies beyond our front door.”

Lynn is the financial wizard for Target Tours. A born and bred islander, she is a Holland College graduate with Records of Achievement in Accounting Technology and Programmer/Analyst.
While Lynn keeps the finances for Target Tours in check, she also enjoys teaming up with John to host group tours on an assortment of fun-filled adventures. She really enjoys getting to know the Target Tours passengers and ensuring everyone is having a wonderful time.
As a career bookkeeper, her role in the beginning with Target Tours was a weekend job. She has spent over 35 years doing books in public and private business. In 2017 her dream became a reality, and she joined John full time in the business. This is where she belonged.
When Lynn is not adding numbers, she enjoys her golf outings, fitness, cooking and reading.
Lynn and John have two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Lindsay, son-in-law, Ben and their treasured granddaughter, Lily.

John Dunphy

John has spent over three decades in the travel industry starting at The Travel Store (Island Travel). In 2009, he and Lynn created Target Tours from the basement of the family home in Morell, PE and built on his passion for motor coaches.

From simple day tours on PEI to more extensive tours to Europe, attention to detail and
organization combine for a memorable travel experience. John will act as Tour Director
for some of his favourite tours such as river cruises and Europe.

As well as planning tours, John sometimes travels with the group as a Tour Host making
sure all the little details are being taken care of.

John and Lynn have two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Lindsay, son-in-law, Ben and
their treasured granddaughter, Lily.
