Airport security can be… intimidating.
Especially in bigger airports or foreign countries!
In this Tip from the Trail, John discusses three ways you can have a seamless security experience.
Outside of the obvious ones like;
- Avoid wearing a lot of metal like jewelry, watches, belts, clothes with metal buttons
- Have your liquids and aerosols in the appropriate 1L bag
- Make sure your passport and boarding pass are ready
You can also prepare;
Water Bottles: Make sure you empty out any contents of your water bottle BEFORE getting to the front of the line
Pockets: Put anything in your pockets in your backpack or carry-on before you go through the body scanner
Yourself: Make sure you’ve got everything separated in different bins like laptops and electronics and that you’ve removed baseball caps and hats
These simple tricks will help make your airport security experience a breeze.
